If you haven't looked at a calendar lately, it is now officially road trip season. Enter: Saddlebags - 38 classic country & western tear'un and beer'uns with an extra shot for good measure. Over the years I've collected hours and hours of vintage C&W music for road trips, specifically the cross-country kind. Nothing marks the miles better. Growing up in Georgia in the 80s, this music was ubiquitous and formed a kind of subliminal soundtrack. Like blues and jazz, it's sewn into the very fabric of "America." Go ahead, light 'em up.
