The Brooklyn Nets play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Accor Arena in Paris on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at 8 p.m. CET as part of The NBA Paris Game 2024 presented by Revolut.

"The Brooklyn Nets are delighted to present Parisians with the opportunity to experience a truly unique concert inspired by Brooklyn’s own king of hip-hop, The Notorious B.I.G. We are thrilled to present this truly special event at the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet, a jewel, in the heart of Paris and we are grateful to our partners, Atlantic / Rhino Records and The Notorious B.I.G. Estate for helping to bring this vision to reality,” said Andrew Karson, Chief Marketing Officer, BSE Global, parent company of The Brooklyn Nets.

“We are also excited to showcase the best of Brooklyn through a series of experiences across the City of Lights focused on food, fashion, art, music, and basketball. Brooklyn and Paris are two cultures rooted in community and creativity, and our shared passions will be on display through our Brooklyn Nets in Paris campaign,” added Karson.

Chief Strategy Officer of The Notorious B.I.G. Estate, Elliot Osagie, adds, “After the overwhelming success of the Orchestral Tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., at the Lincoln Center in New York, the Estate is thrilled to build upon this new honored tradition with the anticipation of a follow-up performance at the Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris. It is our privilege to showcase Biggie’s classic discography in fresh innovative ways that continue to pay tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., and elevate his legacy in all facets of music, entertainment, art and tech. Biggie is not only the King of New York and the Greatest Rapper Of All Time, he is also an iconic and global phenomenon, who spans time, generations, cultures, languages and continents. We are proud to bring this outstanding cultural experience abroad to Paris for the first time and thank our partners for seeing this vision through in such an impactful way.”

Composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson notes, “Christopher Wallace wasn't just an extremely charismatic, intelligent, rare, skilled, and elite rapper, he was and is someone that represents freedom, excellence, and transcendence for all people. His heart and spirit are what touches and inspires us. His legacy is on an upward trajectory, and I can't wait to share an orchestral impression of some of my favorite music of his. Being able to pay tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. with an orchestra in Paris is one of the greatest honors and joys of my life.”

DJ Clark Kent of The Originals says, “Biggie is the best rapper ever. But more important, he was one of the most genuine people I’ve ever worked with and became friends with. The time we shared will never be forgotten. The music we made together, like “Sky’s The Limit” and “Players Anthem” are timeless. It was an honor to share those moments with him. He will forever be missed by me.”

Producer Geoffrey Walker acknowledges, “Biggie’s music is loved globally, and his music catalog garners millions of monthly streams in France. This is why we wanted to bring this special orchestral tribute show to connect with the Hip Hop and Orchestra fans throughout Paris. For five decades Hip Hop has touched every corner of the world - for three of those decades, Biggie's voice has remained a transcendent force that will continue to impact and influence music for the next fifty years.”
