Gerald Levert was one of R&B's most beloved artists who tragically passed in 2006 at age 40. In 1985 he co-founded the trio LeVert, achieving great success on Billboard's R&B Chart. Levert then went solo in 1991 with the debut album Private Line; the title track hit #1 on Billboard's R&B chart. With over 10 albums recorded - and over 9 million albums sold in just the U.S. - Gerald Levert certainly left us a vast musical legacy. In celebration of Gerald Levert's prolific career we bring you The Best of Gerald Levert - his first-ever hits collection that features 15 of his greatest songs including hit singles from LeVert and LSG. This album also includes the never-before released single "Can It Stay."
