Did we just hear you say life's taking you nowhere? We certainly hope we didn't, angel, because we've got somewhere that life can take you today: to the record store to pick up a copy of the 40th Anniversary 7” Picture Disc of David Bowie's “Golden Years.”

Sorry if we kind of telegraphed what the single was with that opening line. We just got excited when we realized we could tie a song lyric into the intro.

Yes, Bowie-philes, we know that you already have both of these tracks - the A-side is the 2014 remastered single version of “Golden Years,” and the flip side features the 2010 remastered version of the single edit of “Station to Station” - but we also know that you don't have the picture disc, and…well, you have to admit that the picture disc looks pretty cool.

It's pointless to pretend you're not tempted to buy a copy, so you might as well just get it over with. When it comes to Bowie, it's like dealing with the Borg: resistance is futile.
