On The Billboard, Sunset Strip with Chateau Marmont

I believe this Doors billboard was the first rock 'n' roll billboard on the Sunset Strip. I cajoled the guys into getting up at 6:00am (not easy), when the billboard was being raised. It was a big deal. Radio stations covered it, and all of us were really excited to see it go up. In this shot you can see the Famous Chateau Marmont in the background, below the billboard.
