Bread & Roses
The Bread and Roses Festival was an annual music event up in Berkeley, California put on by Joan Baez's sister, Mimi Farina. She always would have her friends come and play and there were great acts there, like BB King, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Robin Williams, and Paul Simon. In this case it's Emmylou Harris singing in front of the big Bread & Roses logo there on stage. It was always a wonderful festival, kind of in an outdoor amphitheater there and I went to it quite a number of years to shoot photos as my donation to the charity.
