The Incredible String Band
This is the Incredible String Band at Woodstock. I was a huge fan of their music; I was just as thrilled to shoot them as practically anybody at Woodstock. This was in the performers area out behind the stage; they were sitting there before they went on. All four of ‘em were right there at the table and I went up to them and asked if I could take a picture of ‘em. So I was thrilled to do that -- I totally loved their music. They came out of the same era as Richard Thompson (English folk-rock stuff like Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span).
