Elton John
This picture of Elton John with his glasses on drinking a bottle of Perrier was taken backstage at Wembley stadium. I believe The Beach Boys and the Eagles were playing, and I was there to shoot pictures of the Eagles. He was a guest out in the open area backstage. I had a telephoto lens and I thought “Oh man, there’s Elton John! I’ll get a shot of him.” And as I raised my telephoto and looked through the viewfinder he was shooting a gaze back at me like he was saying “Who the hell is that guy taking my picture?” So I love it; he’s giving me the “the stink eye.” He’s clearly looking at me, like I’m busted taking his picture, so I love that!
