Joan Baez & Mimi Farina
This is a picture of Joan Baez and Mimi Farina at the Bread & Roses Festival up in Berkeley. Mimi started this big annual benefit concert. Her company was called Bread & Roses and they raised money for people in hospitals. They had all kinds of people playing there -- I mean, this might have been B.B. King and Joni Mitchell that they’re watching here. Could’ve been Robin Williams, or Paul Simon; they had so many great, great acts play. That was the only time I’d ever seen these two sisters together and they just looked so beautiful sitting there.
