Desperados At Large
This is The Eagles’ shootout for Desperado, which was in ’72. It was out in Agoura, a place out in the Malibu hills where they used to have the Renaissance Faire, and where there was an old abandoned Western movie set that was falling apart. Since then they have built this all back up and that’s where they filmed Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. But no one was using it at the time, and we went out there and spent the day playing cowboys and taking all these pictures for the cover of Desperado. They had real movie guns with movie load ammunition that had extra smoke and noise and everything. They actually were transformed into these cowboys; it was like the 1870s, and it was quite a little time warp
