John Entwistle
This is John Entwistle. This was taken right outside the House Of Blues for a guitar company, RainSong Guitars. Some guy in Hawaii who’d been an airplane manufacturer got the idea to make guitars out of graphite instead of wood because they didn’t change with temperature, and he made a whole line of guitars and basses. For a while in ’98 I took pictures of all kinds of people endorsing these instruments. And that’s what this was -- John Entwistle was doing a solo gig in town, so one afternoon we took this picture.
