Take Cover! Sing with Queensrÿche!

Enter for a chance to appear - and sing live - on stage at the Queensryche show in your town!!

3 FINALISTS will compete on stage prior to Queensrÿche to sing with the band later that night in the show, and the winner will be automatically entered in a national contest for a chance to be flown to Seattle, WA for the bands homecoming show on March 1, 2008, where they will compete for the Grand Prize in a sing off against two other national finalists prior to the Queensrÿche show that night.

This Grand Prize winner will sing on the next Queensrÿche CD, being recorded in the first half of 2008!!

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Must be a legal resident of the U.S. & D.C. and 18 years of age or older (or for residents of Alabama and Nebraska, 19 years of age or older) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Limit one entry per person/address/email address. For contest entry deadlines, please see tour dates below.

HOW IT WORKS

From the column on the right, download a special version of “Welcome To The Machine,” “Neon Knights,” or “Syncronicity II.” These versions have the lead vocal removed so you can record yourself singing along with the track. Free recording software is available thru: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php

Email an MP3 of your performance, with your name, address, contact phone and valid email address, no later than the deadline date for the show at which you would like to compete. Please see the list below of concert dates and their corresponding email address for entry as well as entry deadline date. Entries received after the deadline will be deemed ineligible.

The 3 best performances submitted for each market will be chosen based on equally weighted criteria of pitch, tone, and overall vocal performance, and those 3 entrants will be contacted via email to appear onstage and recreate their performance live in front of the audience before the show. The performance in this opening segment will be to a backing track - Queensrÿche will not be on stage for this segment.

All 3 winners will receive 2 tickets to the show, an autographed Queensrÿche poster, copies of the following Queensrÿche cd's / dvd's: Operation Mindcrime 2, Mindcrime Live At The Moore, and Take Cover, plus a meet n greet with the band.

The best performer of these 3 -as determined by audience response, scientifically measured with decibel readers - will be brought back on stage to sing with Queensrÿche later during their performance

The evening's winner (Regional Finalist) will also have their recorded MP3 performance entered in the national contest. 3 contestants will be chosen from all of these Regional Finalists based on equally weighted criteria of pitch, tone, and overall vocal performance. These 3 contestants will be flown to Seattle along with a guest for Queensrÿche's homecoming show on March 1, 2008, and will recreate their performance live in front of the audience before the show. The performance in this opening segment will be to a backing track - Queensryche will not be on stage for this segment.

The best performer of these 3 - as determined by audience response, scientifically measured with decibel readers - will enter the studio later in the year to sing with Queensrÿche on their upcoming CD!

Queensrÿche and Rhino Entertainment Company reserve the right to film the performances of all constestants and winners and performances may be uploaded and made available via any website, including but not limited to, a national contest website or through other partnerships as determined by Queensrÿche and Rhino Entertainment Company.
