LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.
A word about submissions: We post what you give us, so please don't include your email address or any personal info. Your comments reach Rhino, not necessarily the writer, so don't expect a reply from them (or us, see our help section for contact info). We gather and post your submissions in batches, so do expect a short delay. And don't get bent if we edit your comments. We probably won't, but we reserve that right.

Thanks, Rocker Dave
Nice job on the Clash. Thought I knew them, but I hadn't dug into their politics. Thanks for taking that angle.

Rascals Entertainment is organising the first BIG C CLUB REUNION.
The Big C operated in the late 60's in North Camp, Farnborough, Hampshire, it was during the time of Radio Caroline and the music played by resident DJ GOLLY GALLAGHER was Atlantis Soul, Stax Soul, Tamla Motown and various soul UK and Usa import labels. Golly was on the mailing list with ATLANTIC RECORDS so the music was really up to date with ATLANTIC product.
The Big C was a members club (700 members) and kids came from all over the UK. The club was run by Larrie O'Leary who had the SPEAKEASY CLUB in LONDON. Radio Caroline DJ's performed regular at the Big C Club and Geno Washinton, The Equals, Skatalties were regular bands and we had the pleasure of Otis Redding, Jr Walker and the All Stars, The Marvelletes, Small Faces, Amen Corner and many other great groups of the time perform at the club.
I am seeking photo's, posters and promotional Atlantic soul artist recordings from the late sixties, are you able to give me a contact for this material.
The reunion is at the same place when it was the Big C Club, it is now the Sovereign Snooker and Pool Club and still large enough to hold the reunion.
I hope you can help me.
Yours Sincerely,
Bobby G,
Rascals Entertainment.
