Bob, you are one cool cat. I totally enjoyed your podcast and it's not solely for the reason that I love Van Halen, but because you bring the passion back to music.
Bob, I just discovered your podcast. I'm a huge VH fan from my youth and your podcast just gave me the perfect start to the day. Rock on dude.
Rhinocasts are the shit...
Bob, you are too funny when you get worked up. I love it! One note from a re-formed VH addict, the rhythm part of Cradle is actually an electric piano (not guitar) played through Eddie's guitar amp. It was the first VH song to feature keyboards, nearly four years before Jump.
Superb work Bob. As a long time Van Halen fan living in Australia, I didn't get the chance to see the greatest rock band of all time live (don't talk to me about a cancelled concert at Wembley when I was living in London...), so cranking their albums has been my long time favourite pastime. Your wise words hit home to me indeed....
Van Halen Lives on!!! Rock on!! Eddies Backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, Daves Back fk life is good once again!!!
Good album, WACF. How I wish bands still rocked with a sense of humor and balls like the mighty DLR era VH. PS that's not a guitar in "the cradle will rock", it's actually an electric piano played through a guitar amp!
