This is one of my all time favorite purchases from Rhino and I have a few! I listened to this set for six months straight! Never got bored with these performances. Such energy. You can see from listening to this time capsule how the UK was influenced by the DB Showcase. George Harrison and Eric Clapton were changed forever by the Delaney and Bonnie formula, which still resonates today 40 years later. Amazing!

Wonder why you don't included the show as recorded by national Danish Radio & TV. They did film both shows and mixed for a screening in early 70. You'll notice that Clapton is having glasses in the 2nd show indicating that the tv program was made of both shows. DR is still having the show in their archives in super quality (black and white) of course much better than the various bootlegs around that all comes shortened.

Could someone at Rhino please confirm this tracklisting which seems to state that everything on the 4 discs were taken from the Royal Albert Hall. The package appears to have to much repetition of the same songs for me to be interested in buying this.

Hi - the liner notes on this website aren`t correct. I have researched the complete tour years ago for a German fanzine article after purchasing a set of negatives of Copenhagen. Most informations (dates & venues) of the tour are incorrect in all sources including Mark Lewisohn.
George Harrison played on all shows in England and Scandinavia AFTER the Albert Hall show (the first stop of the tour). So he is on ALL other tracks on that box set.
He is NOT playing slide guitar on the English leg of the tour because they had Dave Mason to do so. He only did that in Scandinavia where Mason did not attend.
If the liner note writer will get the correct informations - get in touch with me!
