Produced with the cooperation of Altovise Davis and the Davis estate, the four-disc Yes I Can! box is the first truly comprehensive collection spotlighting the world’s greatest entertainer’s entire recording career.
The first three discs chronicle Sammy’s musical career, from his 1949 Capitol sides through his final cuts on Warner Bros. in 1978, and disc four features his best live performances, impersonations, and audience banter. (Ninety-five percent of the material makes its CD debut!)
The accompanying deluxe booklet includes biographical essays, tributes from some of Sammy’s legions of friends and admirers, complete track info, a discography, a list of suggested books, and lots of rare photos of The Man in action and at home. An absolute must-have.
