HEAVEN AND HELLLive From Radio City Music Hall (DVD)$19.99 DVD Under the band name Heaven And Hell, the second coming of the Ronnie James Dio-fronted incarnation of Black Sabbath unleashes its sonic fury with a vengeance on this extraordinary concert DVD, filmed in high definition. Reuniting vocal maestro Dio, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Vinny Appice onstage for the first time in fifteen years, the 2007 Heaven And Hell Live tour is making up for lost time with the sheer pageantry and thunderous roar of the quartet's performances. If you weren't lucky enough to be one of the about 6,000 fans to catch their March 30, 2007 date at NYC's Radio City Music Hall - which sold out in minutes - experience it via Rhino's concert DVD with 5.1 Surround Sound, capturing every metallic flourish and bone-crushing riff. If you were there, now you can relive it for eternity, along with a tour documentary and other bonus footage. It's the first DVD ever to feature this historic Dio-fronted Black Sabbath line-up, which initially came together in 1980, after Ozzy Osbourne's then departure from the band. Gloriously filmed in high definition at one of the most famous theaters in the world, LIVE FROM RADIO MUSIC HALL features concert performances of hits from their first LP together, the 1980 album masterpiece Heaven And Hell - considered one of Sabbath's all-time best - including an epic 15-minute version of the title track, “Neon Knights,” “Children Of The Sea” and “Die Young.” Dio and company also bash through stand-outs including “Falling Off The Edge Of The World,” “Voodoo” and “The Mob Rules” from the '81 LP The Mob Rules and “Computer God” from 1992's Dehumanizer. Also featured are two new songs, the new single “The Devil Cried” and “Shadow Of The Wind,” first recorded in 2006 as bonus material for the Rhino CD compilation Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. It was during the making of that project that Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice felt the combustible chemistry that had previously inspired their world rocking music together, and decided to regroup for a tour. So give praise for the bounty of HEAVEN AND HELL - LIVE FROM RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL, presenting the concert in its entirety, plus extras including the documentary Heaven And Hell Road Movie with backstage, rehearsal and interview footage and more. A companion 2-CD audio release of this title is also available. And, AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY FROM WWW.RHINOHANDMADE.COM, HEAVEN AND HELL - LIVE FROM RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL will also be released in a divinely deluxe three-disc edition - 2CD/DVD - for $66.66. Bonus features of this special, collectible limited edition box - of which only 5,000 copies will be made - are a tour program, glossy photos of the band and Heaven And Hell memorabilia including a concert ticket replica, postcards and backstage laminate.
