The powerful 1979 concept album FROM THE INSIDE is Alice Cooper's unforgettable first-hand account of life inside a sanitarium after checking in to deal with his alcohol abuse. A raw and honest chronicling of looking into the abyss, confronting demons and ultimate transformation, the album delivered the #12 Billboard hit “How You Gonna See Me Now,” a ballad that remains one of the artist's most memorable. Cooper teamed with famed lyricist (and Elton John collaborator) Bernie Taupin to co-write most of the songs for the album, which was produced by David Foster.
