ALICE COOPERFlush The Fashion (Encore)$12.98 CD Alice Cooper rang in a new decade with 1980's FLUSH THE FASHION, his highest-charting album since 1977's classic LP Lace And Whiskey. FLUSH THE FASHION was produced by Roy Thomas Baker, best known for his hit-making work with The Cars and Queen. It marked a stylistic departure into a less gritty, more new wave rock sound for Cooper, and delivered the Billboard Top 40 single “Clones (We're All).” The song - later covered by the Smashing Pumpkins - wrapped Cooper's shock rocker legacy around a future shock chiller for one of the artist's most powerful tracks of the '80s.
