On THE VERY BEST OF CONFEDERATE RAILROAD, the band rolls down the tracks in all-time top form - eighteen tracks to be exact, comprising their biggest hits and favorites spanning 1992-2001. Among the high points along the way are the Top 10 country singles “Queen Of Memphis,” “Jesus And Mama,” “Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind,” and “Trashy Women.” Their most comprehensive collection ever, the disc also collects later hits including “She Treats Her Body Like A Temple,” featuring a guest vocal by George Jones.

Confederate Railroad's signature blend of traditionalist, outlaw-flavored modern country and rowdy, Skynyrd-skewed Southern rock gained the group a good-time reputation that fueled their rise to fame out of the Atlanta-area club scene in the early '90s. After paying their dues on the road backing artists including David Allan Coe and Johnny Paycheck, the Railroad signed to Atlantic Records, where their self-titled debut album went double-platinum and delivered the #2 Billboard® country single “Queen Of Memphis.”

THE VERY BEST OF CONFEDERATE RAILROAD pull tracks from the albums Confederate Railroad (1992), Notorious (1994) and When And Where (1995), Keep On Rockin' (1998) and Unleashed (2001). Highlights also include the Top 40 country singles “When You Leave That Way You Can Never Go Back,” “Elvis And Andy,” “When And Where” and “What Brothers Do.”
