The unique 20-track compilation highlights artists and songs nominated for the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards, which take place February 8, 2009 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this special collection will benefit the MusiCares® Foundation and the GRAMMY Foundation®, two charitable organizations established by The Recording Academy.  

Filled with hits and stars from multiple genres, the 2009 GRAMMY® NOMINEES CD represents nominees from many of the most widely recognized GRAMMY categories including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best New Artist, Song Of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals. It's an annual tradition is made possible by a special arrangement with all of the major music distribution companies and rotates labels from year to year.

This year's collectible CD features tracks by: Coldplay, Estelle featuring Kanye West, Sara Bareilles, Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne featuring T-Pain, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Radiohead, Lady Antebellum, Jonas Brothers, Jazmine Sullivan, Duffy, M.I.A., Adele, Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, P!nk, Gnarls Barkley, OneRepublic, Maroon 5 and Eagles.

The 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 Surround Sound on the CBS Television Network at 8PM (ET/PT) on February 8, 2009. The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide.
