Arguably the best and most notorious of the blaxploitation films of the ’70s, starring Ron O’Neal as a Harlem coke dealer out to make one last big score before he starts clean. To commemorate the soundtrack’s 25th anniversary we’ve meticulously remastered the entire score, gathering supplemental material that appears on disc for the first time, and have provided new liner notes penned by A. Scott Galloway of The Urban Network. We wound up with so much extra material that it took two CDs to fit everything on. And if that’s not enough, in addition to the complete album-length versions of all the songs, you get the smash single edits of “Freddie’s Dead” and “Superfly.” A classic soundtrack!
