"Blue Monday" was originally released as a single in 1983, and it went on to become the best-selling 12-inch single of all time!  It's also one of the longest songs to ever chart in the UK, coming in at nearly seven-and-a-helf minutes.

It was a groundbreaking crossover between synthpop and the distinctive beats coming out of the New York club scene.

This video is for "Blue Monday '88," a shortened remix and re-recording by Quincy Jones.  It features sketches by photographer William Wegman and his Weimaraner dog, Fay.
