Foreigner’s fourth studio album was released during a time of transition as the legendary British-American rock band famously went from six members to four. Recorded at the storied Electric Lady Studios in New York City with respected music producer Mutt Lange, 4 spawned three hit singles - “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Urgent,” and “Juke Box Hero” – and spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts than any artist in the history of Atlantic Records. As a forerunner to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ 50th anniversary, a Deluxe Edition of 4 is out today that includes previously unreleased songs, early & alternate versions, rare photos, instrumentals and live performances.
