Bad Company

Formed by members of Free, Mott the Hoople and King Crimson, supergroup Bad Company has sold some 40 million albums worldwide. Cut at the Château d'Hérouville in France and released on this day in 1977, BURNIN’ SKY delivers more of the blues-based hard rock that fans “can't get enough of.” The self-produced set was the band’s fourth studio collection and features such highlights as “Morning Sun,” “Leaving You” and the hit title track. With Paul Rodgers’ powerful vocals leading the way, the U.K. quartet is on fire throughout BURNIN’ SKY, and the underrated album was certified Gold by the R.I.A.A.
