The Live Aid concerts in 1985 were to have included a duet between David Bowie and Mick Jagger (one on each side of the Atlantic), but technical issues intervened. That didn’t prevent the legendary rockers from teaming up on a cover of “Dancing In The Street,” however, the charity single reached the Top 10 in the U.S. and No.1 in the U.K. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the track, a limited edition white vinyl 12" arrives in stores today, bringing together all of the song's mixes for the first time. As with its original release, the new DANCING IN THE STREET disc helps a good cause - 30% of the retail price from the sale of this single will be donated to The Band Aid Charitable Trust.
