Fifty years ago today, Yes rocked the Garden State with the RELAYER line-up (Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White and Patrick Moraz) in its prime. Today that much-bootlegged concert sees its first official release as LIVE AT ROOSEVELT STADIUM, JERSEY CITY, 17 JUNE 1976 arrives in stores. Originally recorded for broadcast on New York’s WNEW-FM, the show includes songs from the latest Yes album, selections from the five solo collections band members had released the preceding year and such classics as “Roundabout,” “I’ve Seen All Good People” and “Siberian Khatru.” Available as 2-CD and 3-LP sets, LIVE AT ROOSEVELT STADIUM shows the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers’ reputation as virtuoso performers was well-deserved.
