Aquarium Drunkard Presents: SXSW 2013
SXSW is once again upon us. Various factions of the music industry and lookie-loos will descend upon Austin, TX this week -- arguably taking in as much tex-mex, bbq and Lone Star as, well, music. What was once a sleepy annual showcase for new and/or unsigned talent has now become a massive festival in its own right -- complete with all the trappings. This week's playlist runs down some favorites (new and old) who will be in town gigging. Note the heavy emphasis on the Daptone roster, re: their 'soul revue' SXSW party.
Oh yeah, the Aquarium Drunkard party is Wednesday night this year. Come on by.
