Brides of Lucifer - Brides of Lucifer

Heavy metal hasn’t been a solely-male realm for quite some time, but the percentages of female metal artists have always been way smaller than they should be, so how’s this for upping the numbers? Brides of Lucifer have 13 – count ‘em – 13 female singers.

If their name doesn’t ring a bell, that’s not so terribly unsurprising, since the germ of the idea for Brides of Lucifer didn’t even come into existence until two years ago. That’s when pianist/composer Steven Kolacny (Scala & Kolacny Brothers) teamed up with guitarist Koen Buyse (Zornik) and keyboardist Koen Buyse to help turn Kolacny’s vision of a female choir combined with heavy metal guitar riffs and pounding drums into a reality. The result: a 13-track self-titled album filled with unforgettable cover versions of the some of the heaviest songs in metal history.

BRIDES OF LUCIFER will become available digitally on Friday, and you can see the track listing below, but in the meantime we can offer you a trailer which provides a taste of what’s coming your way. Prepare to rock!
